Take part in online survey on gender-responsive public procurement

AEIDL recently came out with an online survey to assist with the implementation of an EIGE funded pioneer project on Gender-Responsive Public Procurement. It aims to raise awareness and build capacity of institutions and public buyers on how to use public procurement while promoting gender equality.

Public buyers as major investors in Europe can use their purchasing power to trigger positive change while designing their tendering processes. Including gender considerations can result in improving women’s access to the labour market or their work-life balance.

The project will map, identify and select examples and identify good practice cases of GRPP at EU, national and subnational levels and will assess how well GRPP is established in the EU and its Member States.

Taking part in the survey will contribute to building evidence for further research activities and pave the way for next steps. The deadline has been extended until 1 February.
