The 4th Annual Conference on Public Procurement will take place in Prague (Czech Republic) on 12 June 2015, and will focus on smart public procurement and implementation of the EU's public procurement directives in 2014. The drive to implement the directives offers the opportunity to re-think how public procurement is organised to make it more efficient and cost-effective.

Smart public procurement makes it possible to think about procurement strategically. Other important policy objectives can be pursued through procurement, whether environmental, social, or those related to promoting innovation in the European economy.

Several sessions will take place throughout the day on subjects such as aggregation, and learning about how to use new tools to make public procurement smarter. Simultaneous interpretation will be available in English, German, and Czech. Participation at the conference is free of charge, and the deadline for registration is 17 May 2015.
