Following the successful implementation of the first round of PPE+ Europe 2024, applications are now open for the second round of the training programme for public procurers, PPE+ Europe 2025.
The PPE + Europe training programme, the “Strategic procurement training for centralised procurement organisations”, is a four year project with four rounds of training (31 training days in total) that aims to support public buyers to get better value for public spending and achieve rapid, efficient, sustainable, and innovative procurement. Offering a combination of practical and academic approaches, the programme allows participants to benefit from the extensive knowledge of variety of organisations and experts in the field of public procurement.
The training programme comprises 31 training days and is planned to be held in on-site and online modes. The following structure is currently envisaged for the second round of training (more information will be provided to applicants upon acceptance to the programme):
- Block 1 (on-site - Vienna): 2025, Calendar Week 38+39
- Block 2 (online): 2025, Calendar Week 42+43
- Block 3 (online): 2025, Calendar Week 46+47
- 2 In-depth modules: between Calendar Week 4 and 5 in 2026 (each 4 half-days online).
- Block 4 (on-site - Brussels): 2026, Calendar Week 9
- Agile Leadership (3-day asynchronous module between Calendar Week 50 and Calendar Week 2)
- Final PPE+ Europe conference in Q1 2028 (1 day)
Applications for this round (PPE+ Europe 2025) will be open until 30 May 2025. Applicants can find more information in the online Community of Practice or in the information brochure and should fill in the application form here.
In addition, interested stakeholders are also welcome to register for the Q&A webinar that will be organised on 12 May (11-12 CET). The webinar will provide general information about the training programmes to potential applicants, and include a Q&A session where interested parties will be able to address any doubts and questions.
