The document is a follow up checklist on how to do ethical procurement of ICT. It was created through the international Working Group on Ethical Procurement of ICT.

The working group brings together leading public buyers of IT as a means for exchange, stock taking, discussion and identification of actions towards a next-generation ethical procurement of IT.

EC GPP Case Study - Malta’s National Action Plan (NAP) for Green Public Procurement (GPP), for years 2019-2025, makes it mandatory for all contracting authorities to include GPP criteria in their tenders for cleaning products and services. The criteria are based on the EU GPP Criteria.

EC GPP Case Study - In 2019, a Green Procurement Office was set up with one full-time person (an environmental technician) directly involved in greening tenders and who liaises with other regional
departments and territorial stakeholders, such as companies, trade associations, etc., to provide them with the necessary support to facilitate and spread the inclusion of the national (mandatory) GPP criteria into their purchasing procedures.

The Procure2Innovate project will establish or expand Competence Centres for innovation procurement in ten EU Member States. The project aims to improve institutional support and quality of advice for public procurers of information and communication technologies (ICT), and other product groups implementing innovation procurement.
