Public Procurement of Zero-Emission Construction Sites - Lessons learned from the Big Buyers Initiative working group
Through the Big Buyers Initiative, a working group on Zero-Emission Construction Sites brings together the cities of Amsterdam, Brussels, Budapest, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Lisbon, Oslo, Trondheim and Vienna to promote zero-emission construction sites, focusing on alternatives to traditionally diesel-driven non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) used to carry out construction works (such as diggers, excavators, wheel loaders, etc.).
The group began collaborating in April 2019, and herein shares key takeaways from a year and a half of capacity building, market dialogues, and learning-by-doing through pilot procurements with fossil- and emission-free components.

Public procurement of nature-based solutions - Addressing barriers to the procurement of urban NBS: case studies and recommendations

Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in ICT Procurement: Discovery Report
The UK’s Government Digital Service, as part of its Global Digital Marketplace programme, was looking to understand how gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) in information, communication, and technology public procurement can be integrated into GDMP delivery. This project examines the existing procurement global best practice. It then offers recommendations for incorporating and mainstreaming GESI into ICT procurement practices.

Lessons learned on legal aspects - White Paper
Under the PPI4HPC project, funded by the European Commission (call EINFRA-21-2017), a group of leading European supercomputing centres (BSC in Spain, CINECA in Italy, Forschungszentrum Juelich-JSC in Germany and GENCI/CEA in France) formed a buyer’s group to execute a joint Public Procurement of Innovative Solutions (PPI) for the first time in the area of High-Performance Computing (HPC).
