ICLEI works together with the Belgian Federal Institute for Sustainable Development (FISD) to support public buyers to help create better working conditions and protect the rights of workers and communities through ethical purchasing practices. The working groups runs throughout 2021, with the aim to create a space for leading big public buyers to exchange, take stock, discuss and identify actions towards a next-generation ethical procurement of IT.

This Implementation Plan is the collective vision of the GLA Group’s Functional Bodies, supported by the GLA Group Central Responsible Procurement Team (CRPT). This document has been developed in collaboration with key stakeholders from these organisations. Procura+ Case Study: Region Stockholm is a European leader in the implementation of social criteria. Their strategy for socially responsible procurement and experiences with using social criteria in tenders for ICT equipment are outlined in this Case Study published within the MakeICTFair project.
