Good practice in socially responsible public procurement - approaches to verification from across Europe
This series of case studies describes how organisations from different countries have approached the verification of social criteria at various stages of the tender process. Each study looks into how the compliance of direct suppliers is monitored and how this applies to the rest of the supply chain. It is hoped that procurement professionals and other key stakeholders will be able to use the experiences of their counterparts to develop or improve verification systems in their own authorities.

Basic Guidelines for interviews with companies about the compliance with the Core Labour Standards of the International Labour Organisation along the supply chain
These basic guidelines are for interviewing companies about compliance with ILO core labour standards in the supply chain. This interview guide has been developed to assist public authorities in their dialogues with potential bidders about social requirements in tenders. The guidelines are aiming at giving the interview a certain structure and at enabling the interviewers to ask proper questions, even if they are no experts. The questions should serve as a mere general orientation.
