Electric vehicles (EVs) coupled with low-carbon electricity sources offer the potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and exposure to tailpipe emissions from personal transportation. Considering these benefits, this study addresses concerns of problem shifting and looks into the whole life cycle inventory.
