13 May 2022, 11:15 - 12:15

The ICLEI World Congress, taking place in Malmö (Sweden) from 11-13 May, aims to showcase how cities, towns and regions worldwide are advancing sustainable urban development and accelerating the sustainable transition. This session recognizes the key role of public procurement to achieve equitable and just communities across the world. We feature lead cities that use their procurement for a responsible recovery and just transition. But, how can governments use their public procurement to support a responsible recovery from the COVID-19 crisis and to foster a just transition?
