The Uptake of Green Public Procurement in the EU-27
A report from 2012 monitoring progress across the EU in implementing GPP. The study was carried out on behalf of the European Commission by the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), and the College of Europe. It states that 26% of EU tenders have used all of the EC GPP Core criteria.

The guidance compiles the environmental improvements to be applied in public works, for the planning, project, execution, monitoring and finalisation phases. It gives special attention to atmospheric and noise pollution, waste management and effects on water, soil, green spaces and mobility. The document includes also a checklist to help the works manager with the follow-up of the environmental performance.
