Occupational Health and Safety Summit 2020

30 November - 4 December 2020

ReWORKing Health and Safety is a timely four-day online event organized by electronics watch.

It will make the case that workers’ occupational health and safety is fundamental to resilient supply chains. Presenters will focus on workers’ own perspectives and explore the role of public buyers in ensuring resiliency by protecting workers’ health, safety, and other rights.

With eight sessions to choose from, and 26 expert speakers already confirmed from the fields of public procurement, occupational health and safety, labour rights, medicine, toxics, mining and more, ReWORKing Health and Safety will deepen participants' understanding of why workers’ health and safety is fundamental for resilient supply chains, and how these rights can be upheld in practice.

Sharan Burrow, General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation and Baskut Tuncak, Former UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and Toxics, will deliver keynote speeches at the inaugural session, which can be folllowed in French and Spanish, as well as English.

You will have the chance to participate in discussions, ask questions, and follow up with speakers in interactive networking sessions following the main webinars.
